Since the metal department did the cool halloween movie night, I am not sure if that went well,since scary movies creep me out, but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to do a christmas movie night? we could put movies on like elf or something like that? what do people think, is that a good idea?

When we did the movie night, we picked stuff that we were hoping appealed to the metal demographic to generate interest for the department. When we do stuff in the future the metal department will be doing it for the same reason, not necessarily because it was a random movie. And like Rick said it has to be in the public domain or have a discussion started by a faculty member.

The only thing that we have to be careful of is that we really can only show movies that are in the public domain... which means old ones. :/
